(Or, is it just a unicorn existence like coffee that never goes cold and ice cream that’s good for you?)
Life is a balance of holding on and letting go.
Finding balance, like any self-improvement endeavor, is possible with time and energy.
But, I don’t know many moms who have a surplus of either.
One day while feeling overwhelmed by my life
I was surfing online for information regarding life coaching. I came across Amanda’s website and jumped on the opportunity to get some help with organizing myself. As a busy mom of three kids, a wife, and a business owner I was at a place that I did not know how to manage. Hi, I’m Amanda. And, I help moms find balance.
As a licensed counselor,
I know that change takes time and effort.
I’m always encouraging my clients to
be patient with the counseling process and with themselves.
But, as a mom, I get frustrated and impatient,
when I can’t find quick and easy solutions to everyday problems that impact my family.
There’s gotta be a better way.
I refuse to accept that our lives are just going to be chaotic and stressful.
I refuse to accept that Mom is synonymous with Last.
I refuse to feel guilty for telling my kids ‘no’, for spending time by myself, for asking for help.
So, I did what any mom would do…
I figured it out.
I got really clear about what I wanted my life to look like and how I wanted to spend my time.
I got my ass in gear so I could actually accomplish what I wanted to do and feel better about myself.
I let go of what doesn’t matter and embraced what does.
And, I reached out for ideas from other moms who seemed like they had it all figured out.
From those conversations, I learned a few things.
For starters, those other moms DIDN’T have it all figured out. They were struggling just like I was.
And, that told me I wasn’t the only one feeling like a big fat failure as a mom. #solidarity
But, I was also reminded that each family is different.
There’s no one-size-fits-all path to balance.

To kick things off, we have our Meet-N-Greet session where I get to know all about you! We’ll personalize your coaching experience. Week One ~ Clean Your Plate – This lesson will highlight what you want to let go of, like unnecessary demands and unrealistic pressures, making room for what is important and necessary in your life.
Week Two ~ History Lesson – We take a look back at what usually gets in the way of letting go. Because let’s be honest, people don’t fail because the techniques don’t work. #usererror
Week Three ~ Time Budget – Yes, you read that right. Finally, learn how to manage your time so you can learn to let go and still get shit done.
Week Four ~ DIY Organization – Even letting go and being content takes some organization. This lesson will teach you how to create your own personal organization system to keep the Have Tos from getting in the way of the Want Tos.
Week Five ~ Mind Over Matter – Let go of mental blocks and limiting beliefs that only hold you back.
Week Six ~ Letting Go Mindset – Cultivate a new perspective that will have a lasting impact on your ability to let go of whatever life throws your way.
